Forskolin Extracts May Help Treat Bladder Infections – Research
According to a new research, forskolin extracts may help to treat bladder infection. Forskolin, which is derived from Indian coleus plant, when takes with antibiotics has shown amazing results is completely treating bladder infections. Bladder infections are mostly caused by E.Coli bacteria and affects 4 times more often to women than men. Forskolin helps the bladder lining to kick out bacteria which escape from antibiotics and hence expose it to the antibiotics to kill them. A medicine combination of antibiotic and forskolin would be best to eradicate and treat bladder infection completely. "If we combine this with antibiotics we would be in a very good position to eradicate urinary tract infection," said lead researcher, microbiologist Soman N. Abraham in a telephone interview.
