Australian bank “Bank of Queensland” issues Credit Card to Cat

Yahoo News reported recently a bank in Australia issued a credit card to a Cat named Messiah. Messiah’s owner Katherine Campbell was testing the bank’s credit card issuing security policies and applied for a secondary card on her account under the Cat “Messiah’s” name. She was surprised when the Bank of Queensland (the Australian bank Katherine Campbell applied credit card for her cat) actually issued a credit card to the cat’s name. "I just couldn't believe it. People need to be aware of this and banks need to have better security," Katherine Campbell told the Australian local media on Thursday. The Bank of Queensland apologized for the entire incident and canceled the credit card later. "We apologize as this should not have happened," said The Bank of Queensland officer in a statement.
