New Causes of Respiratory Diseases – Study

According to a new study published today, Children who live and grow up near major high roads are probable to develop asthma and respiratory diseases at an early age. The study found 10 year old children living and growing up within 550 yards of major motorways suffered from significant losses of lung function by the age of 18. A previous study suggested smoking tobaccos is the major cause of respiratory diseases like bronchitis and emphysema.
